So now you know what cats dream about. And hey, look! Fingernails. The people in the world of my comic do have them. I don't think I've drawn a single fingernail up until this point.

This comic was a little ambitious, but it was fun to draw, as soon as I figured out how to lay it out the way I wanted. The picture in panel 5 I am particularly proud of. In my original sketch, I had some tanks shooting at him, but I forgot about them in the finished drawing. Oh well. I still think it's funny, but I worry that it may only be funny to me.

For those who don't get it, it's a joke about the cat's name. Nyarlathotep. It comes from a creature in Cthulhu Mythos (which originate from the writings of H.P. Lovecraft). One of the forms of Nyarlathotep is the tentacle creature shown in the comic. (Although the real Nyarlathotep doesn't have whiskers and cat's paws, lol.) This comic was set up in my earlier tarot card comic when Lilah said that Nyarl was the avatar of an old god. So is their cat the real Nyarlathotep? We may never know.

This comic gives me another T-shirt idea. I'd like to put the picture from panel 5 of him rampaging through the city and the caption underneath says "Nyarl-kitty."
