A mostly safe for work comic by Jodi Wegner.
The struggle is real. I apologize for the lateness of this comic. I had it finished last night, but I was so exhausted after I finished it, that I didn't feel up to scanning it, working it in Photoshop, posting it on the site, and spreading it out over social media. Also, I know I skipped Friday last week, and I'm sorry for that too. I was super stressed out Thursday after dealing with Unemployment, and couldn't get in a headspace to work. Then on Friday, I was so sick that I just said forget it. So I know the technology is a little dated in this comic. (I mean, really, who still installs games on their computer using CDs anymore?) But it seemed a lot funnier this way, so I went with it. I know the game screens are not so sophisticated, but there's a reason I'm not a game designer. And look at Steve rocking a pink shirt. I realized I hadn't established what color his shirt was in the previous comic, so I needed to come up with a color, and pink is the one that came to mind, so I went with it. Steve doesn't seem like the kind of guy who normally wears pink, so I suspect he may have washed a white shirt in the same load as his red gaming costume. That seems like the sort of thing he's do. So Kat has decided to run amok on the internet. She's joined Fetlife as Goth_Kat, and she is also now on Twitter. Hopefully she knows what she's doing because I have no idea how to use Twitter. Anyways, if you've ever wanted to interact her, go ahead and follow her or send her a friend request. All of her replies will be in character. Just a fun way to market my comic, and entertain my readers. Now that I've lost my job, it is more important then ever to support my comic. There are two ways to do so. First, you can buy something from my store. Just click the Store on the top menu of this page and it will take you to my Cafepress page. I have a number of pretty cool designs up there that you can get on T-shirts and other things. Secondly, I am on Patreon, a site for artists to get donations from their fans to help support their work, generally in exchange for incentives. I currently offer two incentives on my page. For $25/month, I will send you one of the original copies of one of my comics. You can choose which comic you would like out of any still in inventory. If you hurry, you can choose any comic you'd like, as I still have a full inventory. The second incentive is if you donate $15/month, I will illustrate you as a character in my comic. In addition I will send you a full color drawing of your comic character. I will need to start looking for other employment, and finding a new job may make it harder to get work done on my comic, so please consider helping me out if you can. If you just don't have the money to help support my work, you can help in other ways. I don't have much money for advertising, so I rely on word of mouth to gain more readers. Share my comics on Facebook, Twitter, and other social networking sites. Vote for my comic on topwebcomics.com. Tell your friends about me and give them my web page information. The more readers I have, the more support I can likely receive. Thank you so much in advance! I love all my readers. Please vote for me on topwebcomics.com. If you love this comic as much as I do, please take the time and help support my comic by helping more people find it. It's quick and easy to vote, and you can do it once every 24 hours. After playing around with the voting myself, I've discovered that you can only vote once per location, not device. You can vote by clicking the picture below. Comment Form is loading comments...
