A mostly safe for work comic by Jodi Wegner.
March 10, 2022 I'm back! It's been a rough 2 years. I could have spent the year and a half of unemployment working on my comic, but depression hit me like a truck. I've felt a lot of guilt about not working on my comic, especially after I finally picked up some patrons with my $1 tier. I actually drew this comic last year, but going through the process of scanning it, uploading it, and working on all the HTML for a new web page just felt like a lot of work. Then I had to move, and I don't have a workspace set up for my computer. I bought a new laptop with the stimulus money, but I couldn't get Photoshop to work on it due to Adobe closing down the servers for registering older versions of their software, and I don't get enough out of it to pay their subscription fee for their current software. I use that program to get the colors looking right after I scan the original comic, and so it's taken me some time to get motivated enough to get my older laptop setup and working. I did start working last year, and that has eaten up my time, but one of my clients died last month. It's been horrible, and I'm still trying to process it. However, it has freed up one of my days, and I have decided to use that free time to work on my comic again. I will try to stick to it and release a new comic every week, or maybe every other week, depending on how things work out. I feel like I have no right to ask for money anymore considering how bad I've been at keeping up with my comic. I do appreciate the patrons I had for a time. You helped me to page for my domain name renewal last year, and I still have some money saved up from those pledges to help me keep the website up when both the domain and hosting are up for renewal next year. If you do want to hel me, there are several ways you can. First, I do still have some designs up in my store on Cafepress. Just click the Store on the top menu of this page and it will take you there. I have a number of pretty cool designs up there that you can get on T-shirts and other things. Secondly, I am on Patreon, a site for artists to get donations from their fans to help support their work, generally in exchange for incentives. I offer several incentives on my page. Please vote for me on topwebcomics.com. If you love this comic as much as I do, please take the time and help support my comic by helping more people find it. It's quick and easy to vote, and you can do it once every 24 hours. After playing around with the voting myself, I've discovered that you can only vote once per location, not device.
