On closer consideration, I should have done that first panel differently. The way I drew it makes it look like she's bleeding. That was not the intent, I just wanted to show her ass a little red.

Also, I was not originally going to have Kat covering her breasts like that in panel 2. There's no reason for that modesty other than for me not to be showing her nipples. In my original sketch, her head was down further in the panel and her body didn't show. I had more room on the final, so I placed her head a little higher, but that meant her upper body was also in the frame. By the time I realized it, I didn't want to erase it and start over because I think that is the best head I have drawn for her in the entire comic, and I knew I'd never be able to repeat it.
