This was not the strip I originally planned to do today, but the idea came to me, and I realized that this is the last day that I release a new comic before Halloween. So I did this one, and I left me an out for doing the strip I had originally planned, but having Johnny go back to bed.

I injured myself today, and I worried that it might impact my ability to draw. I was cashing in some bottles, and one of the caps was stuck on really tight, and I ended up getting a blister on my index finger and another on my thumb. I hope nothing serious every happens to my hands because I'd hate not to be doing this anymore.

Sunday I start my new novel. Comics should not be impacted by National Novel Writing Month. I should have enough time to do both, but please forgive me if I am late on a comic or two. I will be posting my word count goal everyday as I have in previous years, but I won't share those on my personal page as I do with the comics.
