Gamemasters are so cruel.

I had an alternate idea for the first panel of this comic with them wearing Christmas sweaters and scarves from the "loot" they earned last time, but to be honest, I was a little done with the Christmas story.

So there's a reason the treasure is missing. The world in their game is the same one shared by one of my unfinished novels, True Love's Kiss. The reason the treasure is missing is because my protagonist from that novel has already claimed it, and is on his way to rescue the princess.
