A mostly safe for work comic by Jodi Wegner.

Sorry for the lateness of this comic. I spent a little extra time getting it just right, and it took longer than usual to finish. I didn't have it finished in time to post Sunday before I went in to work, but I posted it first thing when I got home.

I really like this comic, but there are quite a number of references in it that most of you will not understand, so a little history lesson. There is a reference to a novel I may never write about the fictional band Primalust, which is based on a real band that never really got started. Primalust was the name my cousin and I chose for a band we wanted to form with a couple other friends. We even wrote one song, kind of. We wrote the chords for a song but it never had a title or lyrics. We called it GCEE, based on the names of the chords we used: G, C, and E minor. They also corresponded with the initials of girls we both had crushes on at the time: GC and EE.

Furthermore, the song used in this comic is a real song that you've likely never heard of. And I cowrote it. In the very early 90s, my step dad started a band called Fire N Ice, and I wrote him the lyrics for a song called "I'm Alone." He rewrote the lyrics and some music for it, and the words shown here are the chorus. If there's an interest, I can post the full lyrics to the extras page, as well as a second, third, and fourth version of the song that I wrote later, although they're not very good. I was not really that great a poet or songwriter.
