A mostly safe for work comic by Jodi Wegner.
January 27, 2025 This is not the comic I originally intended to follow the last one. The first panel was. It is a commentary on internet culture in the 2020s. Far too many "fans" of a thing feel the need to criticize artists like this when they don't live up to their standards. Part of me is glad that I never became internet famous and had to deal with people like this. Steve clearly spends a lot of time on places like Reddit. However, the rest of the comic came as inspiration the next day after I posted the last one, and this was the result. I have been teasing this character for awhile. The character was born of conversations that I used to have with my ex, and for awhile, I had lost the taste to bring the character to life, considering how much of the character was born of my ex, but last year I merged this character with the child of the woman from the game world in a storyline that I had no idea would have so much impact on my comic going forward. Considering that this character's existence was born out of a throwaway sex joke I made in comic #69, none of this was part of my original script for this comic. I haven't been quite sure what to do with this character since my breakup, but now this story will have a pretty personal connection to my own journey in life. I noticed that the picture for the link to Top Web Comics is finally displaying properly again. Please vote for me. I found a place that I can monetize my art. It's called Sunroom, and here is my link. You can only access it with a Chrome web browser or an app on Android and iPhone. The subscription is $2/month. I will put up art projects that I'm working on there, and I will set up comissions at some point if there's an interest. If you sub, it is cheaper to do it from the website than the app because otherwise you are paying fees to Google or Apple on top of my sub. While I haven't yet started it, one of the things I plan to do for subscribers only is I intend to redraw some of my olders comics in my current art style and posting them on Sunroom. Please consider supporting me there. Please vote for me on topwebcomics.com. If you love this comic as much as I do, please take the time and help support my comic by helping more people find it. It's quick and easy to vote, and you can do it once every 24 hours. After playing around with the voting myself, I've discovered that you can only vote once per location, not device.
